'This country is going through a lot' - horror over Mondeor High School pupil's death

The upmarket suburb of Mondeor to the south of Johannesburg has been shocked by the fatal stabbing of a pupil near the high school.

Social media were flooded with messages of support as people rally behind the family of an 18-year-old boy who was stabbed to death near his school on Wednesday.

The pupil, who was on his way to Mondeor High School in the south of Johannesburg, died after he sustained a stab wound.
