Soweto eatery Moja Cafe continues to be on the receiving end of criticism from angry tweeps following an incident of alleged strip-searching involving one of their female employees over suspicions that she pocketed R3,000.

A voice note from the 25-year-old woman circulated on social media, causing outrage, with some people calling for a boycott of the eatery.

Twitter is of the view that the woman's body was violated, even if the search was done by another woman, in a private room, without cameras as stated on the eatery's Twitter page.

Slamming the eatery, tweeps said employees should come first and must be treated fairly so that they can deliver the best service to customers.

Some described the incident as disgusting while many called for justice for the woman.
