On top of the billions he lost in the Steinhoff implosion, Christo Wiese faces a bill of R73,000 after being ordered to pay a borehole driller who sued him.

And it was all “much ado about nothing”, says the judgment against the Shoprite chairman’s Lourensford Fruit Company.
