A Guatemalan army spokesman on Friday said landslides triggered by storm Eta have buried about 150 homes and killed some 100 people in the Queja village in the central region of Alta Verapaz.

Army spokesman Ruben Tellez told Reuters that death toll was based on preliminary estimates.
