Premier League new boys Blackpool completed the signing of Israeli defender Dekel Keinan on a free transfer from Maccabi Haifa, the club announced.
The 25-year-old has agreed to a season-long deal with an option for a further 12 months and could make his debut at Arsenal on Saturday.
"I am looking forward to the first game and I'm very happy everything is done," Keinan told the Blackpool website.
"I had different offers but after I met the gaffer I was sure that I wanted to play for Blackpool."
Ian Holloway's side reached the Premier League after defeating Cardiff City in the Championship play-off final in May and opened their top-flight account with an impressive 4-0 win at Wigan Athletic last Saturday.
