Mamelodi Sundowns have signed Burundian striker Fiston Abdul Razak for three years after a transfer fee in the region of R3-million was agreed with his club Sofapaka, according to a report.

Fiston Abdul Razak has confirmed the transfer after posting pictures of him in the Sundowns jersey on his Facebook page, KickOff reported on Tuesday.

According to the soccer website, the contract also states that Sofapaka will earn 20 percent should Sundowns sell him to another team.

Razak was part of the Burundi national team which took part in the 2014 African Nations Cup (Afcon) hosted in South Africa.

Last week Soccer Laduma reported that Razak's deal cost Sundowns $250,000.

The deal will also see Sofapaka get 20% of his transfer fees when Sundowns sells him to another team.
