The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has postponed four of this weekend’s scheduled Absa Premiership fixtures.

The move has been necessitated by the late arrival of the senior national team, Bafana Bafana who are now scheduled to arrive on Saturday morning, the League said in a statement on Thursday.

PSL Chief Executive, Brand de Villiers said: “We have had to reschedule this weekend’s Absa Premiership fixtures because of circumstances beyond our control. We would like to thank our sponsors, Absa and broadcast rights holders for their understanding and cooperation. We would like to also apologise to the football supporters who had already purchased tickets and made arrangements to attend the affected fixtures.”

Absa Premiership fixture between Lamontville Golden Arrows vs Bloemfontein Celtic at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday will go ahead as planned.

The PSL has set aside Tuesday, 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2015 as catch up dates. Kick-off will be at 19h30.
