While King Charles III celebrated turning 75 on Tuesday with a private party and a call from his younger son Harry (the first, apparently since that book came out), the UK monarch’s South Africa-based subjects, along with local anglophiles and a smattering of politicos, marked the occasion with a get-together at the British high commissioner’s residence in Pretoria a couple of days later...
