Here is the Sunday Times Fashion Weekly team's pick of the best accessories spotted on the catwalk on the third night of South African Fashion Week SS'16 (#SAFW):
HANDBAGS
First up on our list are the oversized envelope clutches in bold prints and colours spotted at Isabel de Villiers’s show.
A covetable leather shopper bag caught our eye at Non-European.
We'd love to acquire this vintage trunk that featured as part of Sun Goddess's collection.
HEADGEAR
Most of the collections last night had a distinct African aesthetic and headgear was plentiful.
A model took to the ramp in voluminous head wrap (below left) during Liz Ogumbo's show, while Urban Zulu showed an abstract and different take on this style (below right).
Another nod goes to Liz Ogumbo for her safari-style hats.
HEAVY METAL
Metallics were another prominent trend. Chunky metallic neckpieces were featured by By DS (below left) and Loayo Art and Creations (below right).
While during Sun Goddess's show a copper belt was the perfect compliment to a vertically stripped ensemble (main picture, above).
POPS OF COLOUR
It was impossible to miss the bursts of colour on the runway. Models wore bright and bold traditional Moroccan slippers forLoayo Art and Creations's collection.
While colourful skinny belts proved to be the best waist cincher at Judith Atelier.
