SEXY star Scarlett Johansson has admitted that she has a secret fear - of birds. The star of the new film We Bought a Zoo said she could not bear to be around them. "I'm terrified of them. That still hasn't gone away."

The actress said her terror had something to do with the "wings and beaks and the flapping" and that the fear of birds ran in her family, because her uncle was also terrified of them.

She had hated being in the proximity of peacocks on set. "They're, like, mean."

Johansson also revealed that co-star Matt Damon feared snakes. She said he was "freaked out" by the reptiles and had cried when he had to interact with a slithery one. "He was definitely sweating a bit - and maybe the sweat formed in the corner of his eye."

Johansson said she had urged him to hold it together, pointing out that children on the set were "practically juggling" the snakes.

Damon admitted his fear, claiming he got bullied into interacting with them by Johansson and the children.

It is nice to know that these superstars have their own fears and weaknesses.
