Melusi Yeni who played Phenyo in 'Generations' apparently spent two weeks in Durban's Chief Albert Luthuli hospital.

Yeni, who recently appeared in Generations then SABC 2's Muvhango, wasapparently hospitalised for two weeks and needed intensive care as he was in a critical condition.

According to Move magazine, Yeni was discharged and is now at his parent's home in Kwa Mashu.

Two sources confirmed to the weekly that Yeni was indeed unwell. One source would not disclose the actor's illness but confirmed it was serious.Said a close friend of the actor: "I heard about his condition but I haven't had any luck in communicating with him lately. I haven't seen him for awhile but I am planning on visiting him soon."

Yeni made headlines last year after it was revealed he would need to make child support payments totalling over R1 million over 18 years, to the mother of his child. Yeni is also apparently expecting a child with a make-up artist from Muvhango.
