SNAPS: DJ Black Coffee's BET award celebration a star-studded affair

DJ Black Coffee was honoured by the Department of Arts and Culture for bringing home the country's first BET award last week.

Minister Nathi Mthethwa hosted a celebratory Gala Dinner in Durban on Monday night in honour of Black Coffee.

The dinner was co-hosted by Oskido, DJ Fresh, Christos,Greg Maloka and Vinny Da Vinci as part of the Southern African Music Conference which has been supported by the department for the past 10 years.

Black Coffee said that he was humbled by the gesture.

"Got so much love for my brothers for hosting a gala dinner for me tonight at Zimbali with the Minister of Arts & Culture, the mayor of KwaDukuza and other dignitaries. Thank you for having my back from day 1," Black Coffee said. 

The evening was attended by DJ Fresh, Oskido, Malusi Gigaba, Zakes Bantwini and others.
