Some of the country's biggest celebrities have joined people from across the nation in giving 67 minutes of service for Mandela Day.

From rapper AKA to actress Khabonina, celebs gave their time and energy to several initiatives and service projects in celebration of the day. It would have been Mandela's 98th birthday this year.

Some celebs, like AKA decided to plant trees as their way of giving back, while others like Boity Thulo and Tresor decided to spend their minutes offering support and motivation to students at Ikwezi Primary School in Soweto.
