The real reason Lungile decided to get married

He's a TV star, a good-looking guy and has a successful career behind him. So why would Lungile Radu get married when he could still be playing the field as one of SA's hottest eligible bachelors?

Speaking to Gareth Cliff on Cliffcentral recently, the TV personality and producer - who married his longtime girlfriend, Bobo Makgoro, two years ago - explained that he was not about that life.

The 35 year old revealed that he had plenty of fun when he was much younger, and therefore, has no regrets about settling down.

"I have no regrets. I've had my fair share [of fun]. I'm 35 now and luckily enough, I found my partner," he said.

The two dated for 18 years before making their romance official in a traditional wedding in 2014.

We [met] in high school, then we split up, then I did my thing... and back again."

Lungile continued to gush over his wife, revealing that she's often shied away from the spotlight, because it's not her thing.

"She's the total opposite to me. She does not like this whole limelight thing. She's very grounded. Strict, but knows how to have fun. She's private. She's a people's person at the same time."
