Artist Lebani Sirenje has been seen at various celebrity funerals quietly painting portraits in the wake of their death.

From Mandoza to Sfiso Ncwane and actor Joe Mafela - Lebani has painted portraits of numerous fallen stars.

Lebani usually arrives discretely at the venue of the funeral or memorial service of the celebrities and begins painting a portrait that he leaves with the grieving families.

  • Twitter goes after Khanyi Mbau's 'pink' complexion TV and radio personality Khanyi Mbau found herself topping the Twitter trends list after a picture showing off her 'pink' complexion went viral.  

During an interview with TshisaLIVE explained that the portraits were his way of paying tribute to the stars.

Lebani added that he painted the portraits out of passion and was not hired by anyone.
