Babes and Mampintsha have calmed down and have apologised for "losing their cool" after the singer went home with dololo awards at the SAMAs.

Babes and Mampintsha could not contain their anger and frustration over the weekend after Babes walked away empty handed at the awards ceremony.

They both vented their frustration on social media and accused people of being jealous and insinuated foul play.

The duo have since calmed down and have issued a heartfelt apology to their fans. Speaking in Zulu on the video Babes and Mampintsha apologised for their public venting.

They said it was not their intention to imply that winner did not deserve their awards. The duo also explained that they did not mean any "disrespect" to their fans.
