'But we want Beyoncé'- Juju's Ramaphosa shade goes pear-shaped
Julius Malema may have thrown more shade than the Amazon forest when he suggested that President Cyril Ramaphosa was quarter to getting Beyoncé here to win the elections, but the Twitter streets thought it might actually be a good idea.
After the president surprised Mzansi with an appearance at the South African Music Awards (Samas) this past weekend, the EFF CIC warmed his Twitter figures to suggest that Mzansi's number one was being influenced to do "stupid things" and, who knows, he might even bring Beyoncé to Mzansi to try win at the polls.
But while Julius was like...
Others looked for who the "man" is that will convince the president to bring Queen Bey, like...
The rest of Twitter was actually sold on the idea and said that if a whole Beyoncé came to SA, they would queue overnight to vote for Ramaphosa next year.
You know, Mzansi has BEEN waiting!
He's definitely winning the elections if he brings out Beyonce, I'll even help him lie to our people— Bae Grylls (@TheCactusPear) June 2, 2018
But Twitter psychologists were convinced that it was all a trick to get the prez to grant Juju's "biggest wish" of seeing Bey in person.
You guys don’t see the sacasm / reverse psychology in Julius’ beyoncé tweet neh? Man wants y’all to say yes we want bey & so cyril will bring bey coz the people said so. 🧠— Paulinho (@PaulMunzhe) June 4, 2018

They also threw shade back at Juju, pointing out that just a few short weeks ago he was the one rushing to meet Messi.
But Julius le wena you do attend events such as soccer matches etc, what's wrong with him attending music events?— Motaung (@raapss80) June 3, 2018
Fikile Mbalula, who many thought was the man behind the shade, took to Twitter to share a laugh at the tweet and promise that the "president is coming in December".
