It's the season when publicity stunts are as common as bottles of ngud, but AKA has apparently taken the high road and refused to get involved in a social media storm involving his rival Cassper Nyovest.

Cassper found himself in the middle of a frantic Twitter battle with fans recently when he released a kwaito wedding song that many thought was similar to AKA's Caiphus Song.

Cassper responded to the accusation that he had copied AKA's moves by suggesting that AKA was the one who had copied him.

He also told the follower to "be a fan but get the facts right."

AKA got wind of the drama and took to Twitter to tell Mzansi that he is not biting.

"No, no, no. (I'm) not taking the bait this year, buddy. Sorry. ❤️" he wrote on Twitter.

He later responded to another fans comment about Cass trying too hard but claiming it was "desperate times"".

Meanwhile, fans are still arguing over who  actually did the wedding song first.
