If you know anything about Pitori, then you know it is one of the littest place in Mzansi, with a vibe that is hard to match.  And for Zing Mastar that vibe is the magic ingredient whenever he makes a hit track.

First things first.

Before we go forward, it is important to note that Pitori and Pretoria are not the same thing. One issa vibe, a mood and a place that has its own life. Pretoria is the capital city of South Africa. Think of it almost like Dezemba and December.

Zing Mastar has tried to captured this vibe every single time he steps into studio and he told TshisaLIVE all about it.

"Where I am from, music is played everywhere from Monday to Sunday. You don't even realise you are living in what other people call a vibe, it is the way of life. We have things we call 'socials' where we just meet to enjoy good music and good company. It's not a place it's a feeling."

Zing Mastar, real name Tshegofatso Mabala grew up in Atteridgeville and is a self- taught producer. He dropped out of school because no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't find any interest within himself for formal education.

As an artist, Zing Master is relatively unknown but his songs have been the reason why you probably lost your morals at some club or the other. A journey that started around 2006 has finally made him a force to be reckoned with in the dance music genre.

His hits Suna Papa and Tshwara alongside Pencil (fellow artist) have been blowing up in the clubs.

"I think that people love the songs I put out because they hear themselves in them. They can easily relate. The catch phrases are also an important part of why people love the songs, they sing along because these are phrases that exist in their everyday lives. That is what I try to capture in the music, the feelings, the vibe."

His debut album, titled General is available for purchase on iTunes.
