The viewers of eHostela are still shook and in the recovery ward after they watched one of their most favourite characters die on Sunday night's episode of the drama series.
Jama has been looking to kill Mndeni for a while and finally succeeded when he drove a knife into Mndeni the same way he did when he murdered his own father.
Mndeni, who is a gangster and a sweet, guitar-playing charmer, had won the hearts of viewers with his sweet melodies and talented hands. He wasn't without his fault though, as he had also killed people.
But fans still loved him because he was soft at the core.
Viewers didn't want to believe that Mndeni is dead, even though all signs point to it, and were hoping he'll pull a "Jesus" and "wake up soon".
They went onto Twitter to make their feelings known through memes.
