Prince Kaybee has less than a year in the winemaking business, but his brand is already making strides in the industry.

The 2022 Michelangelo International Wine and Spirits Awards have recognised Prince Kaybee’s wine label Milani with a gold medal.

Milani is named after his son with Zola Mhlongo.

Taking to his Twitter timeline, the DJ and music producer shared the exciting news with his followers.

“They say every story has a moral. In this case its winning. 2022 Michealangelo International Wine & Sprits Gold Medalist. MILANI,” he tweeted.

In his mentions on Instagram his followers were sharing congratulatory messages.

“Congratulations sir. I bought from Takealot. I'm in love with wine,” said one follower.

Media personalities Unathi Nkayi and Enhle Mbali also congratulated the DJ.

“I need another case delivered pronto before the prices go up,” wrote Unathi.

“Well done my brother,” wrote Enhle.

The Milani wine is a pinot noir rose and shiraz and Prince Kaybee has partnered with Blue Crane Vineyards to provide his proudly South African wines.

The DJ, real Kabelo Motsamai, took to his Instagram timeline in September to reveal he launched Milani Wine after buying a stake in vineyards in May this year.

“So excited we are finally here, Thank you to all the men and women back at the farm who have made this possible. Today I’m announcing Milani Wine is now available on our own online store,” he wrote.
