Yonda Thomas' wife Taz Emeran said her husband has showed her what not giving up on people looks like.

Taking to her Instagram timeline she wrote an appreciation post to her hubby who she says honoured the in 'sickness and health' part of the marriage vows.

“You loved me when I was broke AF and trying to survive in JHB after moving away from home. You helped me achieve my dreams by taking care of me through medical school and constantly reminding me of the end goal by saying “Soon you'll be a Dr. you'll see”. You loved me even harder when I got my diagnosis and fell really ill. You were my strength when I didn't have any.”

“You shielded me from peoples commentary when I gained weight secondary to the side effects of my medication and continued to tell me I'm beautiful even when I didn't feel that way. You have truly honoured “ through sickness and in health”. And I thank you for that. You care for me with such ease. I know you're a man of very few words but your actions speak volumes. You're not everyone's cup of tea but you're my perfect blend (corny I know).”

The Redemption star and Taz tied the knot in April 2022 after nearly seven years.

On Instagram recently, Taz penned a lengthy, heartfelt letter to Yonda.

“My husband knows I appreciate him because I make it a point to tell him that every day. But today I'd like to extend it. To say he's my pillar of strength would be an understatement. He leads with such intensity, but isn't afraid to follow. He loves hard, but has a gentle way about him. The way he protects me and offers me a sense of security both physically and emotionally is unmatched.”
