Singer/ songwriter Langa Mavuso has taken to his socials to share special moments with his partner, late celebrity chef Lentswe Bhengu-Mafoko.

It's been a month since Lentswe was buried after his death from a short illness.

“This hurts like hell,” he wrote on Twitter.

In his comments section his followers encouraged him to grieve at his own pace.

“May you be comforted by all the special memories you guys shared together. Always looked forward to your posts together. I remember one year he posted one of the most sweetest birthday messages I’ve ever seen on IG,” said one.

“Sending prayers to you Langa. Grief is never easy, one would be lying also if they said it's linear, grieve your way and allow yourself to feel what you're feeling, for however long. Be angry, be sad, be mad, it's all okay. You're in my prayers,” wrote another.

At the late chef's memorial, the singer shared how he had been introduced to him by his sister actress Swankie Mafoko.

“Family and adventure were always at the centre of his life. If it wasn’t an impromptu family braai in Randburg, he was planning our next trip to someplace that I didn’t want to go to. But once we’d get there, it would be amazing.

“Regardless of the strain, we always knew we loved each other, and it was aptly said in every text, which ended with the words ‘Love first, Love always.’ But today, I must find new ways to embody that love and find a new place to share my heart.

“He is the smile that captured us all. And his laughter filled every room. I don’t know how to begin to say goodbye when there is still so much love to give.”

Chef Lentswe's sisters Itumeleng and Swankie shared the moments leading up to his death.

They said he suffered three seizures and had to be resuscitated countless times in hospital.
