Brian Dings says he is ready for a boxing rematch against Big Zulu, after losing to the rapper recently.

Their bout on April 23 at AJ'S in The Park, Craighall, Johannesburg, saw the Mali Eningi hit maker win by a technical knockout.

Brian, popularly known for his stint as a bodyguard on Moja Love's reality show Uyajola 9/9 and providing security for many celebrities, took to his timeline to challenge the rapper to a rematch saying he was not ready for the first fight.

“I'm humbly asking for my rematch — no hard feelings with good match officials. I was not happy at all. I never warmed up since I was relaxing and they said, 'You are next'. Let's play fair game, I'm ready,” he wrote.

Brian and Big Zulu were initially meant to fight three rounds, but Big Zulu ended up winning in the first round.

After the fight, the bodyguard said he didn't feel he got a fair fight.

“There was no knockout there, and I was up on my feet because I tripped on that bad ring. The referee says it's over, no counting, nothing. All I can say [is] congratulations to Big Zulu, much respect brother we move on. To the referee, next time we need [a] fair match,” he wrote on Instagram.

Big Zulu, who had spent months training, says he felt the fight was easy and he is ready to get in the ring with rapper Cassper Nyovest.

“It was nice and easy. I think the guy was scared or still trying to find himself. So when I stepped into that ring I did try to jab him. The guy was very heavy. I wanted him to continue so we can fight but one way or another he was going to get a knockout at the end of the day,” Big Zulu told SA Boxing Talk
