WATCH | Moonchild did the most at the second weekend of Coachella

At this rate, it's safe to say South African artists are on a mission to take over the music industry as they continue to make moves beyond Mzansi's borders.

Moonchild stunned at the second weekend of the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival when she graced the main stage alongside English virtual band Gorillaz, performing their hit song With Love To An Ex.

Recalling her Coachella experience, Moonchild shared footage from the event where she attended with actress Pearl Thusi and got to rub shoulders with American rapper Tyga, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny, among many other artists.

DJ Uncle Waffles also returned to the festival after making history as the first amapiano DJ to grace the main stage in a prime-time slot.

The amapiano sensation shot up trends lists, with many praising her for delivering a great performance with choreography and high energy.

“Grateful doesn’t even remotely explain it. Thank you for showing love.” she wrote on Instagram, after the success of her shows. 

Uncle Waffles also shared a short film giving her fans a glimpse of her Coachella experience.
