It's been nearly six months since the death of Big Nuz member Mampintsha and his widow, Babes Wodumo, has shared a moment of him that warmed her heart.

Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo died on December 24 after a stroke.

Before heading to work recently, the gqom musician shared a video of a tribute to Mampintsha.

“As I’m about to leave for my gigs SABC Sport sends a tribute with Mampintsha Shimora with all the legends of the world. This must be a sign,”

Babes has been struggling to pick up the pieces after the death of her husband.

On a Facebook live video, she revealed season 3 of their reality show Uthando Lodumo was meant to showcase their white wedding but now shows Mampintsha's funeral instead.

“We were separated by death,” she said.

“God took away what I loved most.”

Babes said she lost some friends after Mampintsha's death and hadn't seen some of her husband's friends since the funeral.

“I last saw Mampintsha's friends at his funeral. There's not even one person.”

When speaking about getting back into the dating pool, Babes joked about her preference.

“Should I decide to date again I think I prefer to be with a white man, somebody who does not like to talk too much.”

She's now focusing on the rollout of Mampintsha's Original Shandis Gin and releasing music.

“After Mampintsha's death I was trying to get back on my feet. I'm trying to understand everything but I will be launching everything in due time.”
