Thuli had tongues wagging after her assault case with her beau Maphorisa came to light. They released a joint statement saying they want to deal with the matter privately.
She went live on Instagram recently to catch up with her fans after she was provoked by social media users making snarky comments.
“People are so disrespectful, forgetting we can also become disrespectful ... just because we choose not to be disrespectful doesn't mean we don't know how to do so. It just means we know how to treat people well, you think before you say things, you treat people with consideration. Being disrespectful to me doesn't say anything about me, it says a lot about you, because you are the person that finds it easy to disrespect yourself,” she said.

Actress and DJ Thuli Phongolo broke her social media hiatus by posting a headshot of herself and immediately her glow made her followers think there was a bun in the oven.
The DJ had deleted all her posts on Instagram and this snap is the only one currently on her page.
“Somebody’s gonna save you one day ... and that person happens to be yourself,” she captioned the snap.
After seeing her mentions flooded with speculation about her being pregnant because of her glow, she responded: “I think my edges are making me look pregnant guys but don’t worry I’m firing the whole team for this mess-up cause I told them! Anyway thank you for the love guys.”
