The Earth Day programme will bring you captivating performances from soulful chants to the infectious rhythms of Afrobeats and will feature artists such as rapper Blaklez, hip hop artist Huge da Oracle, soulful Lebo Ditsepu, reggae artist Bongo Riot, Afro-pop band Shameless and vocalist Reign Afrika.

It has been announced that 53 artists will grace the stage in celebration of African music heritage on August 3 as part of the Black Labone initiative which has gained momentum over the past six years through their #BlackThursdays which have consistently provided a platform for fresh talent.

The Earth Day programme will bring captivating performances, from soulful chants to the infectious rhythms of Afrobeats and will feature artists such as Rapper Blaklez, hip hop artist Huge da Oracle, soulful Lebo Ditsepu, reggae artist Bongo Riot, Afro-pop band Shameless, vocalist Reign Afrika as well as the soulful and alluring sounds of Malcolm Jiyane and the Peanut Butter and Jam Sessions, among others.

You can catch the event at Black Labone @ 376 Helen Joseph Street, Pretoria Central from 1pm onwards or stream it live on the TimesLIVE Facebook page or on Skyroomlive.com from 6pm onwards.
