Ntombi Mzolo (née Ngcobo) has penned a heartfelt birthday message to her late daughter.

The media personality's daughter died in a car crash at the age of three.

Ntombi took to Instagram recently on what would have been Linile's fifth birthday, sharing a picture of the shrine they dedicated to her and recalling the special memories she left behind.

This day, five years ago, was definitely the happiest day of my life. God blessed us with sweetest, cutest and most loving angel of them all. We miss and love you so much, Linile Vunani Mzolo. Thank you for living your best life, my baby. You inspire me every day to give life my best shot.

“Please help me wish our angel a happy heavenly birthday,” she wrote.

Ntombi has been intentional in showing authenticity on social media and through her stint on her family's reality show, Ofuze, on Mzansi Magic.

She documented an emotional tombstone unveiling for Linile, and spoke candidly about losing her son Dunamis, who died as a newborn in 2015 after being diagnosed with a rare heart condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome.

Previously speaking to TshisaLIVE, Ntombee said she wanted to show celebrities also face life's challenges.

“If you want to share your story, it's important for you to be honest. There's someone that looks up to you, someone that's going through the same thing you are going through,” she said.

“For me, it was important to go bare and allow people to see who I am. Us being in a public space doesn't mean we are immune to things other people go through daily. So I am about me trying to inspire with my journey.”
