Mondli Makhoba has made a habit of celebrating other actors loudly on his social media.

Nkanyiso Mchunu, who stars on Mzansi Magic's Umkhokha– The Curse as Mkhululi, recently was praised by Mondli.

Macingwane, saw you on Muvhango. I worked with you on Imbewu. I remember the conversations we had about one's time and opportunity, how one needs to support genuinely preparing for his time and opportunity. Today, I took time to watch Umkhokha. The Mkhululi character is the one. You are killing that role, sir. And I am happy for you. May all your roles find you back to back,” he wrote.

In his mentions the actor thanked Mondli for his kind words.

Bhuti, uzongikhalisa, thank you so much Bhut'omdala. This is really humbling,” he replied.

Others commended Nkanyiso and the show.

“He reminds me so much of uMenzi Ngubane, so good,” wrote one.

“But, I just think Umkhokha in general was able to identify outstanding talent in all respects. Personally, I enjoy every moment of it and I think everyone is doing their best. Keep it up guys,” said another.

Mondli recently gave Khabonina Qubeka her flowers for her brilliant work as Queen Ntombazi on the Shaka iLembe series.

“I remember her on Isidingo — The need. I remember her on Generations — The Legacy. I remember meeting her for the first time at Bomb Productions in that long pre-production of Shaka iLembe. I remember her on set of Shaka iLembe, the loudness in the car from set to base. But the same loudness is heard in her portrayal of Queen Ntombazi.

“Today, I want to say thank you Khabonina Q for how you approached Ntombazi. I am thankful her spirit chose you. She comes alive in you. She is calm, sure and loving to her children no matter what,” he wrote.
