Rapper Cassper Nyovest said he won't fill up any venue this year with the trademark concerts he has done across provinces.

Taking to his Instagram timeline recently, he reminded his followers that the last leg of the African Tour concert was taking place on October 28 in Newtown.

In May Cassper and Nasty C announced they were going on tour together, kicking off in Tanzania and wrapping up in Johannesburg in October.

“Joburg. I need you to make this tour finale with Nasty C special. I need y’all to pull up in the biggest numbers. If you’re a Cassper Nyovest fan, you have to be there. I don’t think I’m going to do Fill Up this year so this has to be treated like it as far as energy. I need y’all. Please get your tickets now at Web Tickets. October 28. Johannesburg. Mary Fitzgerald Square,” he wrote.

Cassper is known for his iconic #FillUp concerts. He filled The Dome in 2015, Orlando Stadium in 2016, FNB Stadium in 2017, Moses Mabhida Stadium in 2018, the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in 2019 and Mmabatho Stadium in 2022.

In a recent sit-down interview on the L-Tido podcast the rapper shared how it was HHP who gave him the idea to fill up The Dome. He also shared lessons learnt from the late rapper.

''I always say what I could've learnt in 10 years I learnt in the two years I was with HHP. The reason I was unfu*kwithable is because I was right next to best, that was the greatest. That's the most commercially appealing artist. Nobody did brands like him, nobody crossed over to white people like him. He did Strictly Come Dancing and he changed his brand.

“Even The Dome, he said I should do it and that time I don't have one hit to my name.''

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, ahead of the release of his new album titled Solomon, Cassper said he had nothing to prove.

“This is like a Grootman album for me, I've settled into my position in the game. This is who I am. I am no longer young, no longer the hottest guy on the block, I'm not as excited as the new guys, but I'm the guy who did it like nobody did.
