Details for Lebohang Mpyana’s memorial service announced

Details of the memorial service for Lebohang Mpyana have been announced.

The actress died on November 1 after a short illness. 

A statement shared by Lebohang's family on her timeline confirmed her passing.

“We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers in this time of bereavement. Memorial service and funeral details will follow,” read the statement.

A memorial service will be held on November 8 from 10am at the Joburg Theatre.

Another memorial service is set to take place at her hometown, at the Library Gardens Auditorium in Polokwane. 

Lebohang will be laid to rest on Saturday. 

Tributes to Lebohang continue to pour in on social media. 

Media personality Nomsa Buthelezi-Shezi was among the celebrities who penned a lengthy post in her remembrance.

“Dear Lebo, words fail me. I’m literally speechless. I have been writing and deleting the fact that we have been planning to meet each other. The truth is you made so me proud when you made it on television. You came strong and unapologetic. Isdudla/big girl with big plans to take over the world, you made big girls proud, you made your voice heard in this body shaming industry. You made it, Lebo. You lived for your grandmother you wanted to build her a castle because she was your queen,” she wrote.
