Watch F1 cars wail through Adelaide

Old Formula 1 cars are the best Formula 1 cars. Simply because they don't all look the same and, most importantly, they don't all sound the same. In fact they sound downright epic.

If you need reminding of this then best you grab a coffee and watch this short promotional film shot for the 2017 Adelaide Motorsport Festival in which some Australian driving greats pilot three classic F1 cars through said city's nighttime streets.

There's an ex-Gerhard Berger 1986 Benetton B186, an ex-Christian Fittipaldi 1994 Footwork FA15 plus a bright orange ex-Jos Verstappen 2000 Arrows A21. There's a Holden and a motorbike thrown into the mix too but, hey, in such outspoken company, they're barely noticeable. – Thomas Falkiner
