McLaren Automotive will be unveiling its second-generation of Super Series models at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. And according to the press release they just sent out you can expect them to be astoundingly rapid thanks to a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
Mounted amidships you'll be able to see this eight-cylinder animal thanks to some fancy engine bay illumination that operates on vehicle unlocking. No power or torque figures are given but McLaren are claiming a 0-200km/h time of 7.8-seconds. A standing quarter-mile can apparently be dispatched in 10.3-seconds. That's fast. Seriously damn fast.
