29 children hurt in Joburg minibus accident

Twenty-nine children were injured when a minibus overturned on William Nicol Drive, in Diepsloot, on Wednesday afternoon, paramedics said.

"We know two of the injured sustained serious injuries, and 27 suffered minor to moderate injuries," said Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann.

All the injured were treated on the scene and taken to a nearby hospital.
