No trace has been found of a Limpopo man who is suspected to have drowned in the sea while honeymooning in Mozambique. According to a statement from the office of the premier in the province‚ Livhuwani Malivhoho‚ 29‚ from Thohoyandou in Vhembe was swept away by a strong wave while enjoying himself at Zabora beach north of Maputo on Thursday.Malivhoho and his new bride Vhutshilo‚ 26‚ apparently tied the knot in Thohoyandou on Saturday July 30 before jetting off to enjoy their honeymoon in Mozambique a few days after the celebrations.Kevin Mathiva‚ spokesman for Limpopo premier Stan Mathabatha‚ said in a statement Malivhoho’s body had not been found despite search efforts.Mathivha said a body had washed up on a Durban beach earlier this week but could not be positively identified as Malivholo.He said Mathabatha had called on all South Africans to pray for the families of the newlyweds‚ adding that health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba was in constant communication with the family.“The premier has called on the patience of the family with an understanding that this is a difficult time for them.He assured the Malivhoho family that the provincial government would leave no stone unturned in helping them to find their son’s body.
