Two mountain resorts bordering KwaZulu-Natal‚ Free State and Eastern Cape have reported light dustings of snow in their surrounds.

Afriski‚ the only ski resort in Lesotho’s Maluti Mountains‚ posted pictures of the light snow on its Facebook page on Thursday.

“We had another light dusting at 3222m this morning. Can’t wait for ski and snowboarding season! Hopefully this is a sign of a great winter‚” the resort posted.

Snow Report said it had received another report of snow in Lesotho from Sani Mountain Lodge.

“No snow at the lodge itself‚ but up on the mountains surrounding the lodge. Lesotho can get snow in all 12 months of the year. There was a fall in March already‚” said Snow Report.
