Uber SA is launching a 24/7 phone line that will help customers to improve their experience on the app.

The support line will cater for passengers and drivers and is dedicated to answering app-based questions, app issues as well as driver questions.

Uber users can access the phone line by simply tapping "help" in the app menu and selecting the call option to be connected.

Riders can also access the hotline through the in-messaging feature of the app or visit help.uber.com.

The new hotline is one of the many recent products that Uber has introduced, including insurance to cover drivers in the event of an accident or death and driving hour limits to prevent drowsy driving.
