Police exhume man's body, probe into cause of death

The  body of a 64-year-old man was exhumed by police and pathologists at the Durbanville Memorial Park in Cape Town on Thursday.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said the body of Marius Foot was exhumed after an inquest docket was opened.

Foot died on February 10 and was buried on February 14.

Circumstances surrounding his death are now under investigation, Rwexana said.

She said an autopsy would be conducted.
