Suspected international cocaine baron Nelson Pablo Yester-Garrido, who hid out in SA under a pseudonym for more than a decade, has been extradited to the US.

This is the man who famously once tried to buy a Russian submarine for a Colombian drug cartel for their global smuggling operations, according to a US justice department notice.
