Former ANC members join DA in Western Cape: DA

More than 50 former ANC members in the Western Cape have joined the Democratic Alliance, the DA said on Sunday.

Provincial leader Ivan Meyer said the members were welcomed to the party at a community meeting in Bloekombos, Kraaifontein.

"The DA believes the only way to win votes is through good, clean governance and service delivery," Meyer said.

"Residents of the Western Cape are losing patience with the African National Congress's ungovernability campaign in this province," he added.
