DA poised to hold Midvaal

The Democratic Alliance (DA) looks set to retain the only municipality it controls in Gauteng. At 3.30am with 55% of the votes counted in Midvaal‚ the DA led with a huge margin of 73.3%‚ followed by the ANC at 19.33% ad the Economic Freedom Fighters with 3.71%.During its campaign‚ the ANC vowed to take Midvaal from the DA‚ claiming that its opponent was not taking care of poor in this town.Nationally‚ 21% of the votes had been counted.
