Nedbank Cup champions SuperSport United edged out the Nedbank Ke Yona team 1-0 to lift the Cup at the Sinaba Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
A first half goal by defender Mario Booysen ensured victory for SuperSport against a Nedbank select squad of unknowns who are under the guidance of Bafana Bafana coach Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba.
Ke Yona goalkeeper Musawakhe Mncwango pulled off a number of saves to ensure that the final score remained respectable.
