With a couple of minutes remaining during the goalless action, the League Cup final reached a dramatic end on Sunday afternoon as Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to substituted by under-fire manager Maurizio Sarri.

Manchester City won their second League Cup in a row with a shoot-out win over Chelsea on Sunday at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

The 24-year-old Chelsea keeper plainly rejected Sarri's attempt to lay him off and the coach flipped and changed his decision.
