Even though Babes and her record label West Ink Records issued a heartfelt apology about her not being able to make the event, fans reportedly weren't impressed.
To make up for the mishap, Babes has on Tuesday announced that she will be doing the show this Saturday.
"I trust and hope the lovely people of Newcastle will find it deep in their hearts to forgive me for the unfortunate logistical challenges my team and I faced over the weekend," Babes said.
She added that she has something super special planned for this weekend.
"I hope you'll come out in numbers on 2 September. I have choreographed a special set for this one. Ngiyanithanda bafethu (I love you guys) I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this mishap."
The concert will also form part of Babes' celebratory parties after Wololo garnered a massive 1 million views on YouTube in two months.
"Wololo has reached 1 Million YouTube Views in a short space of two months," she said.
Babes also thanked fans for the overwhelming support.
