Confirmed! Craig Urbani finds a new home on Scandal!

Former Isidingo and Ashes to Ashes actor Craig Urbani has become the latest addition to the cast of e.tv soapie Scandal!

Speaking to TshisaLIVE on Wednesday, Scandal! spokesperson Michael Pocock confirmed that Craig had joined the show and would play the role of a charming businessman called Damon.

"Damon is a good-looking, rich, successful businessman. He oozes charisma and people are easily drawn to him. He has an eye for the ladies and they for him. He knows what he wants and will do whatever it takes to get it," Michael said of Damon's character.

Craig has already started recording with the show and this week posted a picture of himself on set of the show with acting legend Jerry Mofokeng.

Craig's appointment comes just over a month after the show announced that Jerry would be returning after a two-year break.

Craig has previously played the role of Mickey on Ashes to Ashes and Alec Matthews on Isidingo.

He will make his Scandal! debut next Thursday, November 24.
