WATCH | Phelo Bala bids emotional farewell to Siyasanga Kobese

An emotional tribute from musician Phelo Bala was streamed at Siyasanga Kobese's memorial at Bassline in Johannesburg on Tuesday afternoon. 

Those close to the Joyous Celebration singer have packed the venue to capacity to pay tribute to her. 

The service has been filled with musical tributes, a touching picture slide show and emotional speeches. 

Phelo Bala said that he knew Siyasanga would be watching from above and that she was in a better place. 

"You are watching us from above. I guess this is goodbye." 

Actor Matli Mohapeloa said he and Siyasanga shared many fond memories together and that he would miss that deeply. 

He said that they would make up silly songs about each other all the time. 

"She would call me randomly to tell me she would love me. She would cry sometimes but it came from a place of love".
