Fans of eHostela watched the heartbreaking last episode of the drama series on Sunday night and everything came to a stunning end with Jama's death and Khethiwe's funeral.

It was a very a charged episode as fans got closure on the fact that Mndeni and Khethiwe's love was indeed ended by a bullet. And when Mndeni also ended Jama's reign of terror with a bullet it seemed that everything was balanced again.

After a long bumpy road, it seemed Mndeni had gone the full circle, back to being an orphan who has lost everything dear to him. So it was fitting that he would be the one to pull the trigger and end Jama's life.

That scene when Mndeni finally put a bullet in Jama's heart, as the whole hostel watched, was something for the books.

Fans who have followed the Zulu drama for weeks were sad that the series had reached its finale and were not shy to express how impressed they have been by the acting, the storyline and everything in between.
