Robot Boii made a fan happy when he agreed to be her matric farewell date.

This after the mother of  17-year-old fan Lehlogonolo reached out to the media personality and musician via his direct messages on Instagram in March to tell him  how she was being bullied over pimples.

“I am the mother to a 17-year-old girl  in matric. She is being bullied because she doesn’t have a matric dance date and has pimples. She is a big fan of yours. I was hoping you would consider being her matric dance date,” she wrote.

Robot Boii took to his Instagram timeline sharing images from the event and how he made her day special.

“Shout out to my team, and especially the mom who reached out.” he captioned the post.

“It was a day full of joy.” Lehlogonolo's mother, Nkele Mashaba tells TshisaLIVE who kept it as a surprise until October 1.

“She loved him for a very long time , she's spoken about him on a lot of occasions. Whatever has to do with Robot Boii, we all know in the house that we have to stop and pay attention. She's followed his life from his private and music career, that's how much she loves him, so I decided to step in and see how I could make it possible for her to see her role model. ”

Speaking about the bullying, Nkele said she was a supportive mother and wanted to encourage others to help their children feel comfortable to open up to them.

“I've helped her deal with it, that there will always be people who will try bring you down. At some point our children should learn to be strong even if it's not easy and teach them to talk and open up to their loved ones,

“We should also relate to our children, open up to them and make them comfortable enough to speak up.”
