Actress Siphesihle Ndaba has bagged an honours degree in dramatic arts from Rhodes University.

The actress, who stars as Mazet in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora, took to her Instagram timeline to share that she's just climbed the education ladder.

“I’m two degrees hotter. How’s the temperature that side?” she posted.

Industry colleagues flocked to her comments section to congratulate the star.

“Congratulations, gorgeous girl,” wrote Lamiez Holworthy.

“Congratulations, mama. Usebenzile,” wrote fellow actress Asavela Mqokiyana.

Siphesihle is not the only celeb doing the graduation walk.

Skeem Saam actor Thabiso Molokomme recently revealed that he achieved 20 distinctions.

“Received my stage pictures and I’m still in awe five months later of this achievement. Twenty distinctions at 20.

“If you are on the verge of giving up or just mentally not being OK because of academics, may you find inspiration from my story to press on and continue.

“The joy of having your parents dress up and travel through the N1 to see their child graduate is unexplainable” he posted on Instagram.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE about the sacrifices he made, the actor said he worked hard.

“I worked long mornings, days and nights to achieve it and I'm so extremely proud of myself. This shows that having big goals, praying and working hard can get you anywhere. I plan on studying further but I won't be enrolled for traditional modes of education.”
